To avoid random spammage of people's flists the next splurge of request fics will happen tomorrow. It will probably involve House, dinosaur chasing and, if I can manage to write around the electricians, outdoor porn. it gives me a chance to tidy them up a bit since they were mostly written under the threat of drilling and pipe clanging. In other news, I feel the need to ramble about random things, feel free to ignore where appropriate... Tags: doctor who, fandom surprise, games, n-f, rambling, sci-fi, writing

All the edit functions are new and weird and I must resist the urge to poke stuff... Have been reading bit in paper about all the people who've been maimed, bruised, hospitalised, wrecked their own houses playing the new Wii with that flinging thing and the stick doobery. Inappropriately amused about this I have to admit, especially since one of the spokesman has suggested they'll have to make the grip more secure. They seem to be failing to realise that if you give people (any people, not necessarily just men and children) a stick of plastic, coloured images to follow and their own imagination and dodgy reflexes then by god you deserve whatever you get. Also distracted by picture in the radio times of new version of Dracula. Black hair looks good on Marc Warren... Of all the people I would have put on a list entitled 'almost impossible to slash' a name that would have hovered near the top would have been 'Teatime.' Now of course we have Marc Warren playing him in the Hogfather and I've had to take him off of the list. If they do the whole end section with the wardrobe and the pile of teeth and Susan and Teatime's fight I might actually be forced to admit Discworld can be adapted with real actual people made of skin and bone and hair and stuff. If they screw it up I may break things in a childish way. Though someone did ask me the other day who I thought was the most attractive person on the Disc. Going by the descriptions in the books I'm going to have to say Greebo...when he's not being a cat obviously. Which admittedly sounds a bit weird. Finally caught up on all the things I'd left randomly taped, the laziness that is me! Watched Prison Break finale, much to be amused about, it's fun when random prisoners give you the urge to pick up a shovel and clonk them with it. Though as a side note I really hope T-bag didn't just leave his hand lying around there where small children could pick it up, that's really unhygenic! Possibly the dogs will get there first though and munch it all up? Watched the Dr Who two parter as well, was pleasantly surprised that space station didn't look cheap, even though they kept insisting it was a flat pack space station...must be a bugger if tab a didn't fit into slot b there. Much like wembley stadium I would imagine. I did like the rendering of the great beast though, cos it really did look as if he was chained into that huge pit. Not pleased about that ferret faced weirdo in the next episode though. He always looks ever so slightly constipated and I can't concentrate on the human race in danger if I'm wondering if the guys ever going to go to the toilet. Found new icons, Rude from FFVII looks a lot like an urban Agent 47, which I find entirely too amusing. I find it impossible to be in a huff with Agent 47 even when I do something monumentally stupid and end up very very dead. Blood money is eating my soul...
