It's snowing here...properly snowing, haven't seen that in a while!!

Random surprise of the week, while I was indulging in the amusing silliness that was Blade the Series last night, who stumbles into the show but Kavan Smith (Major Lorne, hello Major Lorne!) He gets to play a hot vampire...and I probably shouldn't say anymore just in case people object to Blade the Series spoilers.

ETA: Discworld news. It looks like Jeremy Irons has been cast to play Havelock Vetinari....

I won things in the heroes_slash fanfiction awards....which I am incredibly pleased about because the competition was harsh! Yay! And a massive thank you to voting peoples...

Concerning House....people watched last night's House yes, yes...ok, just in case you didn't I'll put it under a cut! Also, I fail at managing Friday porn thus far...I promised fredbassett I would make a stab at Friday!porn and no one wants to play, and I have been distracted by Cornettos and yes I know you're not really allowed to have ice cream for breakfast but *points up* I won stuff so I'm indulging. Still, there's some Friday left...there's still hope!

Embrace The Cliche Project

What’s it all about?

Fanfic clichés are beautiful, they really are. Especially when they are about the various improbable and wacky ways you can get your two (or more!) favourite characters together in the sexual and/or romantic sense of the word.

Well that's what we're trying to collect, a big damn post of fanfic cliches. It's going to be utterly pan-fandom, so cliches involving aliens, robot doubles and virgin sacrifices all count. If you have fandom cliches to share, or think they aren't written enough, or just want to see them getting more love please do feel free to go and spam with them, we're collecting them all...all of them!
