I leave the computer for five minutes and when I come back there is literally no ink in the printer!! No ink for printing-ness! And I know why as well, someone has been printing out steam trains!! *angry flail*

*eyes stack of five packs of paper* That's just sods law isn't it.

I have no choice but to accept that the universe doesn't currently want me to write....

I was going to spend yesterday writing something for the various fic battles drifting about but my brain wouldn't produce any words for them. So I spent it watching stuff, writing things I shouldn't and generally being random instead.

I have become ridiculously attached to Final Fantasy XII,  with its inappropriately suggestive characters and its giant chickens and its biologically unlikely monsters. So if anyone starts wondering why there's suddenly no E-mail, fic or texts from me it's probably because I'm looking for a save point...or I've collapsed from hunger.

Or it could be because my phone is broken. I need a new phone, I dropped mine on a plug not long after Christmas and the screen started spider-webbing in attractive little blue neon lines, and now sometimes it turns itself off.  But for the last week I've stared at about four thousand phones on all the bloody networks with a vague sense of frustrated apathy.

So can someone please rec me an awesome phone that will wow me with its ability to phone others and do lots of other shiny and amazing things? Or if someone just has a phone that hasn't spontaneously broken and doesn't have a tendency to ring people from your pocket, you could rec me that?

I played kat_lair 's interest meme game and was asked to explain the interestingness of seven of my interests.
I still have to buy a Pumpkin, I'm determined to attempt a face and not lose a load of fingers in the process. I don't even know what the inside of a pumpkin looks like, or what it tastes like. Clearly this is some sort of cultural deprivement or something,  though if it's horrible I can always feed it to George.

Oh and is anyone else finding the new roll-over preview that LJ's doing for links and things really, really bloody annoying. ETA: I've turned the damn thing off thank you peppery_lime

The world is a strange place. There's a fic I planned out ages ago. wrote a beginning for, then sort of abandoned. I wasn't sure if I was ever going back to it, I loved the idea but it was a bit epic and I had a lot to write already. Yesterday I found the perfect icon for it. The clothes, the poses, the expressions, the caption, everything is perfect. It's like someone made it especially for the damn thing. I can't exactly not write it now can I?! So now it's at 4K and counting. I really, really don't like posting things in parts before I've finished the whole fic and I know season two will eat my canon, then regurgitate it and eat it again.... But damn it I've been encouraged now!

Oh and another thing. I hate you little red dotted line that tells me I'm spelling things wrong. Because sometimes I'm tired and I can't tell if I've spelled things wrong or just spelled them English! Damn you red dotted line thing! *sporks*
